Guest Curator, Della Clason Sperling, of Dulack, Sperling & Cheney, art advisors, appraisals and collections management, enjoyed the selection process and especially liked some of the narrative which accompanied the art. She chose Frank Olesen (15) to "center" the month because "it says everything in a bit more graphic way than most, and would be a great fulcrum." Della chose NovA (4) for the all-important first Saturday, and delighted in the art by Emily Rich (16) and Tony Lee (8), the humor of Karen Mathewson (26) and the whimsy of Joost Remeeus (27). For her jury of selection, Della choose to start and end the month with two historical American artists from the Salmagundi Club collection: Robert Fawcett (1) and Harrison Cady (31).
