My imagery reflects this obsession. What I find most interesting are the many paradoxes inherent in this state of being. |

| Growing up in a largely Irish Catholic population outside of Boston shaped my early perceptions. Studies in art and medicine as well as being a mother forced me to look critically at my own personal history. They are as much about what is included as what is not. |
