| Desc: | Let's face it, it's all about sex. I'm fascinated with the idolatry and taboos associated with the female figure and see it as central in many of the conflicts we face today. My imagery reflects this obsession. What I find most interesting are the many paradoxes inherent in this state of being. |

| Growing up in a largely Irish Catholic population outside of Boston shaped my early perceptions. Studies in art and medicine as well as being a mother forced me to look critically at my own personal history. They are as much about what is included as what is not. |
