Desc: The models here are back to back, not speaking, not interacting. I changed their hair, but there is a story here. At the School of Visual Arts, the open studio sessions have two models. One day I had the priviledge to see these two when they met for the first time. The energy between them was electric. Over the years I saw them from time to time. In this session it was apparent they were no longer a couple. Very sad.

Short poses enforce a discipline
Light and dark define the form

Colors glow with the feeling of life
The model’s mood intertwines with my own.

The image grows from the figure and the brush.
The page is the universe.
