Two-for Tuesdays, Happy Holidays -- Ilene Skeen is the founder of Barebrush and a member of the Salmagundi Club since 1999. Ms. Skeen last selected art for the Barebrush August 2013 calendars.
Ms. Skeen selected three Curators' Choice nominees for December, (starred dates in the list): 1* Dans les nudes (oil) by Neal Smithwillow of San Miguel de Allende, MEXICO; 15* Clio and Calliope Collaborating (Inspired by the Promise of New Love) (oil) by Bruce Erikson of Maineville, OH; 22* One Taken One Left (watercolor) by Marie-Paule Martin of New York City, NY.

Art for this calendar comes from 14 states, Mexico and Canada.

Each of the artists selected for the calendar receives two (2) complimentary listings
for each of their artworks selected.
Three artists, indicated by asterisks (
*), are nominated for the
Curators Choice Awards. Curators’ Choice nominees receive 8 additional complimentary listings. All the Barebrush curators have an opportunity to view and judge the art. The top artist receives an additional prize. Winners announced January 1st.
