Desc: This painting is based on a nightmare I had as a child. In the dream I was wearing a terry cloth robe, but here I am naked. In this piece as in a number of others in this series, nakedness is both innocence and vulnerability. The monochromatic blueness of the scene accentuates the dreamy quality I wanted to convey.
