Art, Life and Death -- Guest curator, Bob Mueller is an artist, writer, collector, and former museum president. He is head curator of the Salmagundi Club's collection of American Art. His deep interest in scholarship has given the Club greater understanding of its collection in context while educating membership through informational displays and Curator's exhibitions. He is an accomplished and enthusiastic regular at the Club's monthly Monotype Party which has become the Club's most popular, ongoing participatory event.
To launch the month of March, Mr. Mueller selected El Verdugo,(The Executioner), a brutal image by Tony Lee of Panama, who writes, translated roughly, that the executioner is the person charged with stilling the voice of the condemned in the name of justice.
