| Desc: | The notion for this piece came to me when this model took this reclining pose and I was reminded of Gaston Lachaise's sculpture 'Elevation'. Unlike 'Elevation' which is vertical, 'Terra Pranas' is horizontal. I still wanted to convey a sense of expansion which lifts the figure to communicate the earth breathing. |
